What is an RSS feed?

RSS is an acronym for "Really Simple Syndication", a format of syndication for web content. Websites can publish RSS "feeds" with updates to their sites so that you can use a reader to keep track of updates rather than visiting the site over and over. This can be accomplished through certain types of web browsers or through an RSS news reader. There are many news readers available on the internet. Many of these readers can be downloaded for free while others may charge a fee.

If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0+, Firefox, Opera or Safari for browsing the web you may see the Live Bookmark Icon located in the lower right corner of your browser or in the address bar. By clicking on this icon you are given the option of bookmarking this page. You can then use the bookmark to keep up on current news feeds from ITT Employees' Federal Credit Union.
